U.S. Futures
U.S. futures for the S&P 500 were up 0.1% and futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average were flat. Changes in futures do not necessarily predict movements after the opening bell.
European Markets
In Europe, the Stoxx Europe 600 was flat in morning trading. ProSiebenSat.1 Media rose 11% and Proximus added 7%. On the other hand, Orpea lost 72.4%, and TAG Immobilien dropped 5.7%. The FTSE 100 lost 0.3%. Other stocks in Europe were flat as France's CAC 40 was flat and Germany's DAX was flat.
Currency
The Wall Street Journal Dollar Index was flat at 100.18.
Commodity Prices
In commodities, Brent crude gained 0.1% to $82.63 a barrel, and WTI crude rose 0.2% to $78.41 a barrel.
Bond Yields
The German 10-year Bund yield declined by 1 basis point to 2.711% from 2.721%, and the yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury fell by 1 basis point to 4.628% from 4.636%. Bond prices and yields move in opposite directions.
Asian Markets
Stocks in Asia were mixed as Japan's Nikkei 225 index gained 0.3%, whereas Hong Kong's Hang Seng fell 0.2%. China's benchmark Shanghai Composite climbed 0.3%.
